NHH Symposium
The NHH Symposium is a biennial, student‑run business conference held at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Norway. It began in 1983, inspired by the St. Gallen Symposium, and has grown into one of Europe’s largest student‑run business events. About 400 volunteers organize and run the conference.
Over the years, it has hosted many prominent speakers, including politicians, business leaders, and academics. Norway’s King Harald V attended in 1995, and Crown Prince Haakon attended in 2007 and 2009. Each edition centers on a theme and invites leaders from various sectors to share insights and debate current issues. Past themes have covered productivity, risk and uncertainty, values, and the future of work, among others, and the event has helped launch or shape the careers of several notable business leaders.
