Samo Zaen
Samo Zaen, born Osama Mohamed Alabras on November 10, 1979, in Kuwait, is a Syrian singer and actor. He comes from a Syrian family in Latakia and moved to London to study audio engineering after high school. He started his music career in 1999 with the album Mili Ya Hilwa, and released Ana Leek in 2002. He has released more than five albums with the Egyptian company Mazzika and also worked with Kelma Music on another project. He changed his name from Osama to Samo to avoid the association with Osama bin Laden. He also held British citizenship through his marriage to Christina. He and Christina have a daughter named Nagham, and after their divorce he married Dina Saleh in 2016; they have a son.
