Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture
South Africa's Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture is a Cabinet member responsible for sport, recreation and culture across the country. The minister leads the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture. Since July 3, 2024, the post has been held by Gayton McKenzie. The minister is appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa and is styled The Honourable. The position was created in 1993, and the first minister was Abe Williams.
