List of Notre Dame Fighting Irish head football coaches
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team represents the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. They play as an independent in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. Notre Dame has produced more All-Americans than any other FBS program, and seven players have won the Heisman Trophy. Since 2015, the head coach position is officially titled the Dick Corbett Head Football Coach, funded by the Corbett Family. Notre Dame is one of only two Catholic universities in FBS (the other is Boston College) and is independent of a football conference. Home games are at Notre Dame Stadium on campus, known as the House that Rockne Built, with a capacity of 80,795. # denotes an interim head coach.
