Mercedes Aragonés de Juárez (12 September 1926 – 25 July 2023) was an Argentine politician from Santiago del Estero. She served as Governor of Santiago del Estero Province from December 2002 to April 2004. She was the second woman to govern a province in Argentina and the first in Santiago del Estero. She became governor after the resignation of Governor Carlos Ricardo Díaz, having been elected vice-governor on his ticket.

In 2004, President Néstor Kirchner removed her from office through federal intervention amid corruption accusations; she was the last provincial leader in Argentina to be removed in this way.

Her earlier roles included Vice Governor (1999–2001) under Governor Carlos Arturo Juárez, National Deputy (1993–1999) for Santiago del Estero, Minister of Women’s Affairs, and president of the provincial Female Peronist Party.

She was married to long-time governor Carlos Arturo Juárez. Born and died in Santiago del Estero, she passed away at age 96.
