Meital Dayan
Meital Dayan (born 25 April 1979) is an Israeli football defender. She has played in Israel’s top women’s league since its start in 1998, with Maccabi Haifa (1998–2003), ASA Tel Aviv University (2003–2009), and Maccabi Holon (2009–). She spent a loan spell at Maccabi Be’er Sheva in 2014. Dayan helped her clubs win two league titles and five national cups, and she played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League with Maccabi Haifa in 2002. For the Israeli national team, she played from 1998 to 2008, earning 29 caps and scoring four goals. She lives in Kiryat Bialik with her female partner. In 2019, Dayan appeared on an Israeli reality TV show.
