Mary Ann Jackson (January 14, 1923 – December 17, 2003) was an American child actress from Los Angeles. She appeared in the Our Gang series from 1928 to 1931, often as the spunky older sister and known for her bobbed hair and freckles. She began acting in 1925 in the Ruth Taylor short Dangerous Curves Behind and soon starred in The Smith Family shorts as their daughter Bubbles. After The Smith Family ended, she joined Hal Roach Studios in 1928 and moved into Our Gang, helping bridge the silent and sound eras. She left acting in 1931 at age eight, later appearing briefly in Mickey McGuire shorts and some feature films. She later worked at the May Company department store in downtown Los Angeles. Jackson was the daughter of Charlotte Jackson and the sister of Peaches Jackson; she was married twice and had two children, living for many years in the San Fernando Valley. She died of a heart attack in Los Angeles on December 17, 2003, at age 80.
