Mariette Kemmer (born 1953) is a Luxembourgish soprano who has performed in concerts and operas across Europe and the United States. She is the daughter of pianist Jean-Pierre Kemmer and was born in Luxembourg City on 29 November 1953. She started with the cello at age 9, then switched to singing at 13. After studying in Brussels and Düsseldorf, she began her stage career at La Monnaie in Brussels, where she soon took leading roles in Der Rosenkavalier (Sophie), The Magic Flute (Pamina) and Carmen (Micaëla) at the age of 24.

Over the years she has sung in almost every major European opera house and many venues worldwide, with about 900 operatic performances. She has appeared in more than 100 cities, in around 70 opera houses and with about 100 different orchestras, performing in prestigious venues such as Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden, Frankfurt, Zurich, Geneva and Verona, and in concert halls like the Beethovenhalle (Bonn), Konzerthaus (Vienna), Salle Pleyel (Paris) and the Rudolfinum (Prague). Despite her international career, she has performed only three times in Luxembourg.

Since La Monnaie, she built an international career with appearances in cities such as Copenhagen, Las Palmas, San Francisco and Prague. Since 2003, she has taught at the Conservatoire d’Esch-sur-Alzette in southern Luxembourg.
