Marcus Samuel (politician)
Marcus Reginald Anthony Samuel (7 September 1873 – 3 March 1942) was a British Conservative politician. He stood for Parliament in Southwark North in 1929 but did not win. He became the Member of Parliament for Putney after a by-election in November 1934, following the death of his relative, Samuel Samuel. He was re-elected in 1935 and remained Putney MP until his death in March 1942 at the age of 68.
