Anthony Marcus Mergulhao, born 30 November in Mormugao, Goa, is an Indian sports journalist for The Times of India. He is best known for covering football, especially the Indian Super League, and has been in the field since 1999.

He also works on projects beyond reporting. In 2023 he wrote the script for a documentary about Goan footballer Brahmanand Sankhwalkar, titled Famously Found @15. He served as assistant general secretary of the Association for the Wellbeing of Elder Sportspersons (AWES) around 2018. In February 2023, during The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022 voting, he participated in selecting players for the women’s categories, listing his choices for Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, and Best Coach.

In November 2023, the Goa government announced the documentary’s release, with Mergulhao contributing the script, Norman Fernandes handling cinematography, and Uday Kamat in production. On National Press Day, 16 November 2023, he joined a panel discussion on challenges and opportunities in journalism in the digital era at Institute Menezes Braganza.

Mergulhao’s work has earned several awards. He won the Goa State Journalists Award in 2017 for "Beginning of the end," and again in 2020 for "Dumped in GFA godown." In 2023 he received the Goa Union of Journalists sports award for 2021–22, and another Goa State Journalists Award on 16 November 2023 for his piece "Blinded by fate, 17-year-old champion athlete from Usgao sets sights on international stage."
