Marcos Montiel
Marcos Daniel Montiel González (born 12 July 1995) is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a centre-back for Olimpia in Honduras. He was born in Montevideo and is 1.87 m tall. Montiel began his senior career with Villa Teresa (2016–2019), then spent four seasons with River Plate Montevideo (2019–2023). In January 2023 he signed with Nacional, along with Daniel Bocanegra and Fabián Noguera. After a loan spell at Godoy Cruz in 2024, he joined Deportivo Maldonado (2024–2025). In 2025 he moved to Olimpia and wears number 14 under manager Eduardo Espinel.
