Malaxis macrostachya

Malaxis macrostachya is a species of orchid found from Mexico through Central America to the southwestern United States, including Arizona, New Mexico, and western Texas. Each plant has a single leaf and a tall flowering stalk that bears up to 160 tiny green flowers. It belongs to the orchid family (Orchidaceae).
