Mak language (Adamawa)
Mak, also called LeeMak, is an Adamawa language spoken in Taraba State, Nigeria, by the Bikwin people. It is part of the Niger-Congo language family and is one of several Bikwin languages. There are two dialects, Panya and Zoo, which are quite different and may even be separate languages. The Panya people live in Panya Village and the Zoo people live in Zoo, both in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State. About 5,700 native speakers were recorded in 2000.
