Mahindra XEV 9e
The Mahindra XEV 9e is a battery-electric mid-size crossover SUV from Mahindra & Mahindra. It debuted in 2024 and is built on the INGLO electric vehicle platform, with production beginning in 2025. The SUV has a coupe-like design, a panoramic glass roof, and 19-inch alloy wheels, and it is a rear-wheel-drive model with a rear-mounted electric motor.
Power and battery
- Two battery options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh, both using BYD Blade LFP cells.
- 79 kWh variant outputs about 210 kW (282 hp) and 380 Nm of torque.
- Claimed ranges: 542–656 km (MIDC) or 533 km (WLTP).
- Charging: 7.2 or 11.2 kW AC; up to 180 kW DC fast charging.

- Curb weight around 2,201 kg; boot space about 663 liters.
- Interior features three 12.3-inch screens for the driver, infotainment, and front passenger.

- 360-degree camera, adjustable regenerative braking with three levels plus one-pedal drive.
- Multiple drive modes: Default, Range, Everyday, Race, Snow.
- 0–100 km/h in about 6.8 seconds for the higher-end variant.
- Eight color options, including Deep Forest, Nebula Blue, Tango Red, Desert Myst, Ruby Velvet, Everest White, and Stealth Black.

- 5-star Bharat NCAP rating in 2025.
- Ex-showroom price at launch: ₹21.90–₹30.50 lakh.
- Competes with Tata Harrier EV and BYD Atto 3.
- Battery warranty: lifetime coverage for the first private owner; after ownership change, 10 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first.
- Over 10,000 units sold within 70 days of launch.
