Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter is a Danish architecture firm based in Copenhagen. It was founded in 1985 by Boje Lundgaard and Lene Tranberg. In the 1990s, the firm built a reputation for designing heat and power plants and other technical facilities. Their breakthrough came in the mid-2000s with the Charlottehaven residential project (2004) and especially the award-winning Tietgenkollegiet student housing, along with a new building for the Royal Danish Theater. In 2004, Boje Lundgaard left the firm, and Lene Tranberg continued with a new group of partners. Notable buildings include the Royal Danish Playhouse, Tietgenkollegiet, Sorø Art Museum, and Kannikegården. The firm has won six RIBA European Awards. Website: tarkitekter.dk.
