Lost Creek is an affluent neighborhood and census-designated place in Travis County, just west of Austin, Texas. It covers about 3.3 square miles of land and had a population of 1,276 in 2020. The area is bordered by Capital of Texas Highway to the east, Barton Creek to the south, Barton Creek Boulevard to the west, and Bee Caves Road to the north. Within Lost Creek are smaller communities such as Parkstone, Woods of Westlake, Camelot, and Knollwood, and the name comes from a quiet section of Barton Creek away from busier downstream areas.

Development began in the late 1970s and the neighborhood is now largely built out. A small commercial strip along Bee Caves Road and Capital of Texas Highway hosts businesses including Capital One Bank, Wells Fargo, and offices like Apple.

Lost Creek was annexed by the City of Austin in December 2015 and was dis-annexed in May 2024 under HB 3053.

The community lies entirely within the Eanes Independent School District. Students attend Forest Trail Elementary, West Ridge Middle School, and Westlake High School.

In 2014, Business Insider named Lost Creek one of the most educated places in Texas, and seventh in the United States.
