Tram accidents (short version)

This worldwide list covers tram crashes where the tram was badly damaged or where people inside were seriously injured or killed. Pedestrian deaths are not included. Many other tram accidents happen with little damage and few or no injuries, so they are not listed here. For example: Mr. Nathan was a passenger on tram No. 2. After he got off at the southern end, the tram moved on before he was clear of the rails, and he was swept around and his body ended up under the front wheel.
