List of governors of Imo State
Imo State, in southeastern Nigeria, has been governed by a mix of military administrators and elected governors since its creation on 3 February 1976 from the old East Central State. Before 1976, the area was part of East Central State (1967–1976), which came from the Eastern Region.

Note: In the 2019 election, Emeka Ihedioha was sworn in as governor, but in January 2020 the Supreme Court ruled that Hope Uzodimma had the valid majority, making Uzodimma the current governor.
