This article lists foreign women footballers who have played or still play in Turkey’s top women’s leagues—the Women’s Super League (WSL) from 2021 onward and the Women’s First League (2008–2021, 2022–).

Rules for expatriate players
- Expatriate players must be registered by Women’s First League clubs. Each club can have up to five expatriate players per season (the limit has changed over the years).
- In the 2021–22 Women’s Super League season, the cap was raised to six expatriate players per club. The 2022–23 season kept this six-player limit, and from the 2023–24 season the cap will return to five.
- A squad can include up to six expatriate players in the namelist, and they may all play in the competition.
- Domestic transfers of expatriate players are allowed only during the transfer window and only if the receiving club has room in its quota.
- Expatriate players must have valid residence permits. Their licenses, visas, and transfers are issued in relation to the residence permit and the International Transfer Certificate (IFC).
- Naturalized expatriate players can play as Turkish players only after three years from the date of the first naturalization application.
- If a club is relegated to the Women’s Second League, expatriate contracts end (no expatriate players are allowed in the Second League). They can be transferred to another Women’s Super League club in the next season.
- Clubs must pay a license fee to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) for expatriate players.
- The rules above apply to the 2022–23 season and were current as of February 2023.
