List of cities by elevation

This is a list of major cities around the world ranked by elevation. It includes capitals, cities with more than a million people, or places higher than 1,000 meters above sea level. For each city, you’ll see the country, region, latitude and longitude, and a standard elevation value used for comparison. To be included, a city must have at least 175,000 residents.
