Diamond-certified albums in Canada are those that have sold at least one million units (CDs, tapes, or LPs) as certified by the Canadian Recording Industry Association. The first million-seller in Canada was Rumours by Fleetwood Mac in May 1978. Michael Jackson's Thriller was the first album in Canada to earn both double Diamond (2 million) and triple Diamond (3 million) awards. In total, 18 Canadian albums have reached Diamond status, involving 11 artists and one compilation.

Celine Dion holds the record for the most Diamond-certified albums in Canada, with six. Double Diamond awards go to albums that have sold 2 million units, the highest-selling albums in Canadian history. Only two Canadian artists have reached this level: Alanis Morissette and Shania Twain. Twain and Pink Floyd are the only two artists to have more than one double Diamond-certified album.
