Line Bazar Purnia
Line Bazar is a major neighborhood in Purnia, Bihar, located along the Purnia–Siliguri Road. It lies beside other important markets like Madhubani Bazar, Bhatta Bazar, Rambagh, Khuskibagh, and Gulabbagh, the region’s largest wholesale market. Line Bazar is known as a key medical hub, drawing people from North-East Bihar and nearby areas of Nepal and West Bengal. It is home to Government Medical College and Hospital, Purnea, along with many private hospitals, diagnostic centers, blood banks, and pharmacies. Good road links and other transport connections make it easy to reach, reinforcing its role as the healthcare center of Purnia and the Kosi Division. The area is served by Purnia Police through several stations.
