Lewis Brown (basketball)
Lewis Brown (February 19, 1955 – September 14, 2011) was an American professional basketball center. Born in Los Angeles, he attended Verbum Dei High School and played college basketball at UNLV from 1973 to 1977, earning second-team Parade All-American honors in 1973. Brown was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 4th round of the 1977 NBA draft (69th overall). He played two NBA games for the Washington Bullets during the 1980–81 season. His professional career lasted from 1977 to 1987, including time with teams in the United States, the Philippines, Europe, and elsewhere. He stood 6 feet 11 inches tall and weighed 225 pounds. Brown passed away in Los Angeles at age 56.
