Leptosiphon acicularis, commonly known as bristly linanthus or bristly leptosiphon, is a small annual flowering plant in the phlox family. It is native to northern California, from the San Francisco Bay Area northward, in the California Coast Ranges. It grows below 700 meters in chaparral, oak woodland, and coastal prairie habitats.

Synonyms: Linanthus acicularis.

Conservation: It is listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN and by California authorities, and appears on the California Native Plant Society's Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants.

Description: The plant has a hairy stem up to 15 cm tall. Leaves are oppositely arranged and divided into very narrow bristlelike lobes up to 1 cm long. The tip of the stem bears one or more small yellow flowers surrounded by many needlelike sepals. It blooms from April to May.

Etymology: The name acicularis comes from Latin for needle-shaped.
