Las Rosas, Santa Fe
Las Rosas is a city in the southwest of Santa Fe Province, Argentina. It is about 165 kilometers (103 miles) from the provincial capital. The city has about 13,689 residents (2010 census) and is the capital of Belgrano Department, which also includes Armstrong, Bouquet, Las Parejas, Montes de Oca, and Tortugas.
Las Rosas was founded in 1889 by Guillermo Kemmis and the Dickinson brothers, and it became a city on August 20, 1967.
The climate features warm, humid summers with rain, and short, cold, dry winters. Typical temperatures range from about 5°C (41°F) in winter to about 31°C (87°F) in summer, and rarely drop below -1°C (30°F) or rise above 35°C (95°F).
