Epiplatys ansorgii
Epiplatys ansorgii is a species of killifish in the family Nothobranchiidae. It is native to freshwater habitats in Africa, living in the southern part of the Ogowe River basin and extending southward to the lower Congo River system in West Africa.
The fish grows up to about 8.0 cm (3.1 inches) in total length.
The species is named in honor of explorer William John Ansorge, who collected the first specimens.
Taxonomically, its binomial name is Epiplatys ansorgii. It was described by George Albert Boulenger in 1911.
Conservation-wise, Epiplatys ansorgii is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
