Landersheim is a small commune in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region of north-eastern France. The area is about 12 square kilometers and, as of 2023, has around 190 residents. The land is mostly used for farming, but the village also hosts significant employers, including Adidas France, which runs its French headquarters here and employs about 400 people. Other local employers include the Kochersberg hotel complex, a travel agency, and an agricultural development business. About one-fifth of residents still work in farming, with goat cheese produced locally.

Geographically, Landersheim is near Saessolsheim and Rohr to the north-west, Willgottheim to the south-east, Zeinheim and Westhouse-Marmoutier to the south-west, and Maennolsheim and Friedolsheim to the north-west.

Historically, the village’s name appears in medieval records as Lantheresheim and Lantersen before becoming Landersche. In 1595, half of the village belonged to the lords of Mittelhausen and the other half to the Holzapfel family and the lords of Landsberg. The area alternated between Protestant and Catholic influence during the Reformation and Counter-Reformation. At the end of the 17th century, a Strasbourg-Colmar family named Weinemer bought most of the village, a pattern that lasted until 1789.
