Lame, also called Tu-Gura, is a Jarawan language spoken in Nigeria, mainly in Bauchi State. It is part of the Niger-Congo language family. Lame is a small cluster of dialects; Rufu (Ruhu) and Mbaru have been extinct since around 1987. Some researchers, including Blench (2019), list Gura as a dialect of Lame. As of 1995, there were about 10,000 native speakers.
