Ladies in Black (TV series)
Ladies in Black is a 2024 Australian drama TV series based on The Women in Black by Madeleine St John (the second adaptation after the 2018 film). The show began airing on ABC on 16 June 2024 and has six episodes in its first season. Set in the early 1960s, it follows women working at a department store as they face changing times. ABC commissioned the six-part series in September 2023, with filming in South Australia and the cast announced in November 2023. A second season is in development, as announced by ABC on 11 September 2024.
