Lachlan Walmsley (born 12 June 1998) is a Scotland international rugby league player who plays as a winger or fullback for Wakefield Trinity in the Super League.

Born in Merriwa, New South Wales, Australia, Walmsley is of Scottish descent. He came through the Newcastle Knights’ youth system and played reserve grade for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, also representing New South Wales under-18s in youth State of Origin.

Club career:
- 2021: Whitehaven (League 1) – top point scorer
- 2022–23: Halifax Panthers (Championship) – top try-scorer for Halifax in 2022; jointly named 2023 Championship Player of the Year
- 2024–present: Wakefield Trinity (Super League) – signed a two-year deal in 2023; extended to 2026 in 2025

International:
- Debuted for Scotland in 2021 against Jamaica
- Named in Scotland’s squad for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup (held in 2022), scoring his first Scotland try in a 28–4 defeat to Italy on 16 October 2022

Physical: height 6 ft 3 in (1.90 m); weight about 90 kg (14 st 2 lb)
