Kulharia is a village in the Parbatta subdistrict of Khagaria district, Bihar, India. It lies on the banks of the Ganga river, about 5 km from Parbatta and 42 km from the district headquarters in Khagaria. The village had a population of 13,024 in 2011, with 6,980 men and 6,044 women. The literacy rate is 68.18% (males 73.8%, females 61.56%), and the gender ratio is 866 females per 1,000 males. Angika is the home language, while many younger residents also speak Hindi and English.

Most people here work in farming. Other livelihoods include fishing, livestock rearing, and small businesses. Kulharia has three government primary schools, two government middle schools, and two government high schools, along with several private education options. There is a post office, a bank with a few ATMs, and two major bus stops: Maheslet More and Salarpur Chowk. The village features temples and a mosque and is governed by Kulharia Gram Panchayat, led by Mukhiya Smt. Vibha Devi and Sarpanch Smt. Shobha Devi.

Challenges include poverty and limited healthcare, with only one health sub-centre serving the community. Despite these issues, Kulharia is relatively well connected and has potential for growth with investment and development.
