Kris Bright (born 5 September 1986) is a retired New Zealand footballer and the sporting director of Auckland City. He grew up in South Auckland and is the son of former New Zealand player Dave Bright.

Bright started his career with Waitakere City, where he was the NRFL Premier top scorer as a 17-year-old and helped the club reach the 2004 Chatham Cup final. He then played for the New Zealand Knights before moving to Europe, where he had spells in the Netherlands, Norway (notably Kristiansund, where he scored 11 goals in eight games), Greece, England, Hungary, Malta, Finland, India, South Africa, and Northern Ireland. He finished his playing career back in New Zealand with Auckland City.

Internationally, Bright represented New Zealand at under-17 and under-20 levels, and earned five senior caps, scoring one goal. He played in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and was named as a reserve for the 2010 World Cup.

After retiring, he moved into management and coaching, including a stint with Central United and leading Auckland City’s U23 side before becoming the club’s sporting director.
