Konata Mumpfield
Konata Mumpfield is an American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams. Born October 24, 2002, in Hoschton, Georgia, he is 5'11" tall and weighs 186 pounds. He played high school football at Dacula, where he starred as a senior, and later played college football for Akron in 2021 and Pittsburgh from 2022 through 2024. He was drafted by the Rams in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft (No. 242 overall).
At Akron in 2021, Mumpfield had 63 receptions for 751 yards and eight touchdowns, earning freshman All-American and second-team All-MAC honors. He had standout games against Ohio State (seven catches, 67 yards, TD) and Western Michigan (122 yards, two TDs) that season. After transferring to Pittsburgh, he posted 58 receptions for 551 yards and one TD in 2022, 44 receptions for 576 yards and five TDs in 2023, and 52 receptions for 813 yards and five TDs in 2024. In his NFL rookie year (2025), he appeared in all 17 games, recording 10 receptions for 92 yards and one TD. His first NFL touchdown came on a 5-yard catch in the Rams’ 35-7 win over the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, and he added an 11-yard catch against the Panthers to help set up the game-winning score.
