Kinugasa Stadium
Kinugasa Stadium was a baseball stadium in Kyoto, Japan. It was located in Kita-ku and owned by Ritsumeikan University. The stadium could seat about 20,000 people, and the field measured 89.9 meters to left and right, and 110.1 meters to center.
It opened in 1948 on the Kinugasa Campus and was built for the Ritsumeikan University baseball team. The first game, in September 1948, was between Ritsumeikan and Doshisha University. The venue also hosted high school tournaments and some professional games, including the Shochiku Robins from 1950 to 1952. Kinugasa Stadium was demolished in 1968.
