Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actress is an annual award at the Kerala State Film Awards in India. It began in 2015 to honor the best performance by an actress in a Malayalam film. The award replaced the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress, which was discontinued in 2014. The winner receives a certificate, a statuette, and a cash prize of ₹50,000 (about US$590). It is sponsored by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy.

History and winners: The first winner was Anjali Nair. A total of nine awards have been given. The most recent winner is Lijomol Jose at the 55th Kerala State Film Awards in 2024.
