At Reidsville High School, Harrison played football as a tight end and defensive end. As a freshman, he had 17 catches for 263 yards and 5 touchdowns, plus 92 tackles and 9 sacks on defense. The team went 14-2 and reached the state title game. He also helped the basketball team go 26-1 and reach the state final, averaging about 21.5 points, 15.1 rebounds and 4.4 blocks per game.
As a sophomore, he stepped up in football with 62 receptions for 940 yards and 16 touchdowns, along with 76 solo tackles and 9 sacks. In basketball, he averaged about 19.4 points, 15.1 rebounds and 3.7 blocks, helping both teams win state championships; the basketball team went 29-0.
Harrison was named the MaxPreps National Male Athlete of the Year for 2023-24. For his junior year, he transferred to Providence Day School in Charlotte and played three football games (13 catches, 153 yards, 2 TDs). He then returned to Reidsville in September 2024, scoring two touchdowns in his first game back. He finished the football season with 33 catches for 555 yards and 8 touchdowns in eight games, and later reached 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds in basketball.
Rated as a five-star recruit, Harrison is one of the top players in the country for both sports. ESPN ranks him as a top-15 football prospect nationwide and the No. 1 tight end, while he’s also in the top-40 nationally for basketball. He has committed to Oregon to play both football and basketball.
