Karanikolica, also known as Kara Nikolla in Albanian, is a mountain peak in the Šar Mountains on the border of Kosovo and North Macedonia. It stands at 2,409 meters (7,904 feet) and is one of several peaks over 2,000 meters along the Šar ridge. Two small lakes lie beneath its summit. The first known ski descent was on February 6, 2016, led by local guides Kostantin Ciriviri and Jovan Bozinovski. The ascent included two female ski mountaineers from Norway and Slovakia, and a male splitboarder from the United Kingdom.
