Kapil Patil
Kapil Moreshwar Patil (born 5 March 1961) is an Indian politician from Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He earned a BA from Mumbai University in 1984-85 and has held local leadership roles, including President of Thane Zilla Parishad and Chairman of Thane District Co-operative Bank. In March 2014 he left the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) to join the BJP and was elected to the Lok Sabha from Bhiwandi, a position he held from 2014 to 2024. He served as Minister of State for Panchayati Raj from 7 July 2021 to 11 June 2024 in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. He is married to Minal Patil and has two children. His residence is in Anjur-Dive, Bhiwandi, Thane district, Maharashtra.
