Tsunami is a 2020 Sri Lankan Sinhala disaster drama film directed by Somaratne Dissanayake and produced by Renuka Balasooriya for Cine Films Lanka. It stars Niranjani Shanmugaraja, Darshan Dharmaraj, Himali Sayurangi, and Bimal Jayakody, with music by Rohana Weerasinghe. The story is based on the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami in Sri Lanka on December 26, 2004, and focuses on a mother's love after losing her child.

Filming lasted about 50 days. The tsunami wave effect was created in an abandoned shrimp box at Molagoda, Negombo, and a toppled bus scene was built at Ranmihithenna. Large coconut and palm trees were brought to the set.

Release plans changed several times. It was originally planned for August 2019 in 75 theatres by Savoy Cinemas, but the film premiered in nine theatres in November 2019 and was initially set for December 26, 2019. The official premiere happened on January 16, 2020 at the Savoy Premier Theater in Wellawatte, becoming Sri Lanka’s first Dolby Atmos film. The run was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In October 2020, Tsunami qualified for the competition at the Byelsa International Film Festival in Yonago, Japan, where it won Best Actress and Best Director. Somaratne Dissanayake also won Best Director at the Moonwhite Films International Film Fest in India on December 8, 2020. The film was nominated for Best International Film.
