Chiharu Watanabe, born April 13, 1984, in Niigata, Japan, is a Japanese professional wrestler better known by his ring name Kanjyuro Matsuyama. He is 1.63 meters tall and weighs 85 kilograms. Trained by Último Dragon and Jorge “Skayde” Rivera, he made his debut on February 22, 2004, in Toryumon Mexico, defeating Small Dandy Fujii.

Matsuyama created a flamboyant kumadori-wearing kabuki actor gimmick. He wrestled in Mexico until 2006, teaming with Milanito Collection A.T. In 2005 he was sent to Chikara in the United States as a Toryumon representative with Skayde, but was eliminated by Icarus in the Young Lions Cup.

Back in Japan, he joined Michinoku Pro Wrestling in October 2006, teaming with The Great Sasuke in the Futaritabi Tag Team Tournament, where they were eliminated in the first round by Ebessan and Kuishinbo Kamen of Osaka Pro Wrestling. He moved between Michinoku Pro Wrestling and Osaka Pro Wrestling through 2007, eventually settling in Osaka Pro Wrestling in 2007 and remaining a mainstay there until leaving in 2014, with sporadic appearances thereafter.

He now runs Matsuyamaza Pro Wrestling, based in Osaka, hosting many top Japanese stars and international wrestlers. Along with Kikutaro and Stalker Ichikawa, Matsuyama is regarded as one of the three greatest comedy wrestlers in Japan.
