Kamal Gupta
Kamal Gupta, born 6 November 1952, is an Indian doctor-turned-politician from Haryana. He served as Haryana’s Minister of Urban Development & Housing from 28 December 2021 to 17 October 2024 under Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. He was a Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Hisar from 2014 to 2024, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party, and was elected in both 2014 and 2019. He was born in Farrukhnagar, Punjab, India, and is married to Pratima Gupta. He holds MBBS and MS degrees and works as a doctor and politician.
