Kahua language
Kahua is a language in the San Cristobal group of the Southeast Solomonic languages. It is spoken in the southern part of Makira Island in the Solomon Islands, which was formerly known as San Cristobal. The language has also been called Anganiwai, Narihua, and Wanoni. About 5,200 native speakers were reported in 1999. Kahua belongs to the Austronesian language family, within Malayo-Polynesian, Oceanic, Southeast Solomonic, Malaita–San Cristobal.
