Kadira Divyaraja is a 2023 Sri Lankan Sinhala-language fantasy romance film directed and written by Sunil Ariyaratne. It retells the mythic love story of Hindu god Skanda Kumara (Kartikeya) and the tribal princess Valli.

Plot (simplified)
An adivasi couple finds a girl named Valli in the forest. Valli grows up and dreams of a man she creates as an idol. Narada reveals she loves Skanda Kumara, the son of Shiva and Parvati who dwells in heaven and is married to Devayani. Devayani sends Skanda Kumara to Kataragama to meet Valli. He blesses King Dutugemunu in a war against Elara; if Dutugemunu wins, a temple will be built. Skanda Kumara meets Valli, they marry, and Devayani joins them in Kataragama. After Dutugemunu wins, a temple is built for Skanda Kumara. The film ends with the deities entering the temple and promising help to those who seek it.
