K-Rockathon was a yearly rock festival in Central New York, run by Galaxy Communications and aired on WKLL, WKRL-FM, and WKRH. It mixed local bands with big national rock acts, covering styles from alternative rock to metal.

The first festival happened on July 28, 1996, at Vernon Downs in Vernon, NY, and stayed there through 1999. In 2000 it moved to the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, then returned to Vernon Downs at times, with the event changing venues almost every year. Other locations over the years included Vernon Downs, Syracuse, Oswego, Utica, and Weedsport.

By 2002, about 30,000 fans attended each year. K-Rockathon ran from 1996 to 2015, and then again in 2017 and 2018. After 2015, the festival’s status was unclear. In 2024, a K-Rockathon reboot was held at the New York State Fair with performers from prior events.
