Kyabetsu Tarō
Kyabetsu Tarō (キャベツ太郎) is a popular Japanese snack made by the Kadō company in Ibaraki Prefecture. Tarō is a common Japanese given name.
The snack is made from corn flour and forms small balls about 3 cm in diameter. They are flavored with pieces of nori (seaweed) and brown sauce. It is inexpensive and aimed at children. It comes in two bag sizes: 20-yen and 100-yen. The package features a frog wearing a police officer's hat.
