Juan Pablo de Laiglesia
Juan Pablo de Laiglesia y González de Peredo (6 August 1948 – 4 March 2022) was a Spanish diplomat. From 23 June 2018 to 5 February 2020, he served as Secretary of State for International Cooperation and as President of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. He took over these roles from Fernando García Casas and was succeeded by Cristina Gallach (Secretary of State) and Ángeles Moreno Bau (president) respectively.
Earlier, he was Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs from 27 July 2010 to 6 November 2010, following Ángel Lossada Torres-Quevedo and preceding Juan Antonio Yáñez-Barnuevo.
He was born in Madrid and died in 2022 at the age of 73.
