2010 Quezon local elections

2010 Quezon local elections were held on May 10, 2010 as part of the general election. Voters chose the governor, vice-governor, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, four district representatives, and local officials such as mayors, vice mayors, and councilors.

Incumbent Governor Rafael Nantes (Liberal) ran for a second term against former governor David Suarez (Lakas–Kampi). Incumbent Vice Governor Carlos Portes sought another term. Incumbent representatives Mark Enverga (1st district), Danilo Suarez (3rd district), and Lorenzo Taňada III (4th district) also ran; Danilo Suarez faced former governor Eduardo Rodriguez, while Taňada III ran unopposed.

In the end, David Suarez won the governorship with 397,858 votes (53.08%), defeating Rafael Nantes, who received 333,292 votes (45.11%). Nantes was the governor before the election, and Suarez became governor after the election.
