Job fair
A job fair is an event where employers, recruiters, and schools share information with job seekers. At the fair, job seekers meet employers, hand in résumés, and ask about available jobs. There are in-person fairs and online fairs. Colleges use fairs to recruit for entry‑level positions. Booths let companies collect résumés and swap business cards. Career centers often sponsor fairs, giving students a place to interview. Employers explain what they want in candidates and the required degrees or experience. Online fairs use video, chats, and downloadable materials. After applying online, people may also attend in-person fairs.
