Jim Dray
Jim Dray is an American football coach and former tight end. He is the tight ends coach for the Chicago Bears of the NFL. Born December 31, 1986, in New Milford, New Jersey, he grew up in Paramus and played high school football at Bergen Catholic in Oradell. He played college football at Stanford and earned Second-team All-Pac-10 honors in 2009.
Dray was drafted in 2010 by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round (233rd overall). He played for the Cardinals from 2010 to 2013, then spent time with the Cleveland Browns (2014–2015), the Buffalo Bills (2016), the San Francisco 49ers (2016), and returned to the Cardinals in 2017. He scored his first NFL touchdown in Week 5 of 2013 against the Carolina Panthers. Over his NFL career, he had 56 receptions for 605 yards and 3 touchdowns.
After retiring as a player, Dray began coaching at Stanford in 2018 as an offensive assistant. He then worked as an offensive quality control coach for the Browns in 2019, for the Cardinals in 2020–2021, and became the tight ends coach for the Chicago Bears in 2022 under head coach Matt Eberflus and offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.
