Jhyve is the stage name of Jamaal Desmond Bowry, a Canadian rhythm and blues singer from Toronto. He won CBC Music's Searchlight, a competition for emerging artists, in 2021. He has been nominated for two Juno Awards: in 2018 for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for "Human" and in 2024 for Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for "Unbreakable."
